John L. Solomon - Founder and President
John Solomon has over 20 years' experience in real estate and
corporate law with a specific focus in the oil and gas and telecom industries.
After receiving B.S. in Business Administration from Murray State University
and then his law degree from the University of Kentucky, Mr. Solomon was in
private practice in Lexington, Kentucky for two years before moving to the
Washington D.C. area where he continued to practice primarily in the real estate
area. Thereafter, he held the office of
executive director of a large marketing company for four years that was later
named the "Fastest Growing Privately-Held Company in America" by Inc.
Magazine. In 1998, John managed the
title administration of a large, multistate fiber optic right-of-way project
and has worked in the oil and gas, telecom and alternative energy industries
ever since. He has worked as a contract
field landman, held the position of crew chief over several successful projects
in the Appalachian and Illinois basins, has owned and operated a successful
landman brokerage firm, and has and continues to successfully facilitate the
purchase and sale of large lease plays and drilling projects.
Michael C. Duncan - Vice President
A native of Southwest Arkansas and
Northwest Louisiana, Mike Duncan
grew up in a family of landmen dating back to the 1930’s. He has spent 12 years
in the oil and gas industry. He is highly versed in all phases of land work.
His career in the oil and gas industry includes lease acquisition,
comprehensive title and curative, coordination with construction and survey,
and all areas of surface acquisition and interaction with government regulatory
agencies pertinent to the oil and gas industry. He was field
project manager of a 300,000 acre leasehold for El Paso E&P for over 5
years in the Illinois Basin. He has worked extensively in the Appalachian Basin
and has run title and field crews in the Baaken/Williston Basin in North Dakota
and Montana. Mike attended Memphis State University and Santa Fe Junior College
in Gainesville Florida. He spent over 30 years in the music business as an
artist, songwriter, advertising jingle producer and booking agent. He enjoys
golf, fishing and continues to write and record music in his recording studio.
Justin M. Wayne - Project Management
Justin Wayne has over 9 years of experience in the Oil and Gas
industry and oversees the management of all projects. Highly proficient in
drill title, HBP unit assessment, curative, and lease analysis, he has also
managed due-diligence projects, including a 200,000-acre HBP leasehold
acquisition in the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Justin
started his career researching mineral ownership and negotiating leases in the
Illinois Basin and Trenton Black River Plays. He has managed large drill title
crews for clients in the Appalachian Basin. He has performed extensive HBP unit
assessment, curative, and lease analysis. His responsibilities have included
the review of working interests, net revenue interests, royalty interests,
joint operating agreements, and assistance with client division orders. Since
2007, Justin has worked primarily in the Appalachian Basin and has managed
projects for several national and international companies. Justin works closely
with clients to ensure that their projects are completed in a timely and
professional manner. Away from work, Justin enjoys hunting, deep sea fishing,
and attending sporting events.
David L. Solomon - Title Administration
David Solomon is the Director of Title Administration and oversees
the development and implementation of guidelines, protocols and policies for
all title research, reporting, analysis and delivery; use and implementation of
the companies land data system; coordination of staffing and reporting needs
with project managers and title attorneys; management of the drill title review
team and review processes; as well as all title related crew training and
project orientation. His experience is extensive throughout the Appalachian and
Illinois Basins. In addition to his current role, he has also managed large
drill title and due diligence projects in the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays.
David has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in
Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. Prior to working
in the oil and gas industry, he garnered considerable experience in
supervision, management and program development in the public, private and
corporate arenas.
